Slowly coming back...

Sorry to be absent. The past few weeks have been terrible and I was without internet connection for a week because bellsouth.

I'm still taking care of my Marine son after surgery

I'm much better from the fall down the stairs, luckily I didn't break anything.

The decorating mojo is in full swing and I have a ton of new projects to start.

I started a new job last week - the commute is longer than I want but the pay is great and the opportunity for advancement and bonuses is also very good.

I'm all done now with the root canal - took four visits to the endodontist.

After the last visit, I went into anaphylactic shock and ended up in the emergency room. They don't know what exactly I reacted to, so for now I am carrying an epi-pen and will see the allergist next week to narrow it down.

Stitchingwise... to be honest, I still haven't stitched any. But, yesterday I went to my Sampler Guild meeting and I managed to organize my current projects, so I'm hoping this inspires me to get moving. Also, I bought a small chart to stitch for my Dad for Father's Day - which is 6 days away now (no pressure here!) and I'm using this project to jump start my stitching mojo.
